Review Of Stardew Valley Farm Video Game

When looking for a relaxing and fun game to play, Stardew Valley is one of the games that comes to mind. For those who don’t know, Stardew Valley is a farming simulation video game.

It is mainly inspired by the Harvest Moon video game series. developer, Eric Barone originally started stardew Valley as another modern fan-friendly version of the Harvest Moon series and after his show showed great support in the community, he decided to work for the title to the fullest.

Stardew Valley Release

So on February 16 2016 the stardew valley was released for PC. It was also released later on other platforms like PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and more. after creating your character, you can choose one of six different map types.

Each map gives a different layout for your farm. Note that you cannot change the selected map type once you start the game. You also need to name your farm and it will not be changed over time. So what can you do in the stardew valley? There is obvious farming.

You will be given a set of tools that you can use for farming. Basically, you can plant the plants for watering, and then harvest them when they are fully grown. There are four seasons in the star valley Spring, summer, fall and winter.

Most plants only grow at a certain time and you cannot plant crops in the winter unless you have a stardew valley greenhouse that you can open at a certain time of the game. You can choose between dog and cat in the first parts of the game.

Taking Care Of Animals

They work just like an animal as they have no purpose in the game other than the animal that accompanies them. There is also a horse that speeds up the city.

You can also take care of animals such as chickens, cattle, sheep, pigs, and rabbits. And they are a source of income as they are able to produce animal products. This is not about the products like stardew valley wine.

Knowing that you have to have a shed or barn to house yourself, we are talking about buildings, Robin’s store offers many farm buildings that you can build. He can also renovate your house as long as you have money and building materials. Fishing is another option in the Stardew Valley.

There is a control similar to a small game where you catch fish. The difficulty of controlling the minigame depends on the type of fish currently being caught. Normally, the green bar moves slowly but when the fish is caught it is rare, it goes up and down like crazy.

The Pelican city also has mines, where you can dig for minerals and ores. Inside the mines, there are enemies like slimes and bats and many other monsters Combat and mining is very simple just click your mouse to hit the rocks with your pickaxe.

And turn your weapon to attack the enemies as you go along.the enemies continue to be stronger. As you dive deeper into the mines, While mining, you may find minerals or art objects that can be donated to the museum.

If you want to explore the city, you can talk to the local people of the Pelican city. Their conversations depend on your friendship with them. To enhance your friendship, you can give them gifts twice a week. Just make sure you give them a gift they love because if you give them trash or fiber they will not like it.

Role Of Locals In This Game

For some locals, when you reach a certain level of friendship a cut or heart event will result when you are in the right place at the right time. While some locals will give you different recipes at the post office.

Some local people may be liked by your character. There are 6 bachelors and 6 bacheloretes in this game. Stardew also allows you to marry your gender.

Each citizen has his or her own unique personality. Everyone has their own story and background and it’s up to you if you want to grow your friendship with them.

There are also festivals in these games that are special events that take place twice a season apart from a three-day winter festival. Attendance at the festivals is optional so after completing the day’s farm work you can go to bed immediately.

Personally, at first, the festivities were fun for me but as the years go by the game, the festivals are just repeated. The same thing happens every year. You also have a journal in which you can see demands automatically or favor from a citizen. You can also accept claims outside the Pierre store.

There is also a continuation of your skills. Skills increase when you use tools related to that skill the higher level or skill skill where energy is used when using the tool.

And as you go up you will open recipes and levels 5 and 10, you can choose a job. For example, Rancher will get more gold from animal products while Tiller will get more gold from plants.

Building is easy in Stardew Valley There is no need for a homemade table you can just make something on the menu as long as you have the recipe and the necessities.

The Pelican City

The Pelican city also has a community center. This works as a Stardew Valley game reward system. Each level has a reward that will unlock other parts of the game.

If you don’t want to complete the bundles, you can buy Joja membership which causes the community center to be demolished and converted into Joja Warehouse so instead of completing certain bundles to open certain parts of the game you just need to buy these specific features or city projects but where is the fun in that?

I also mentioned earlier that you can donate certain minerals to the museum. At the beginning of the game, the entire museum collection is empty and the museum manager, Gunther will ask you to help by donating artifacts and minerals you can find as well as finding lost books in the library.

Reward will also be given if you reach a certain number of donations If you want to play with friends, there is a cooperative game mode where 1-4 players play on the same farm via LAN or Internet.

These other players stay in their small rooms and work as a host assistant. If you are a host, you have the option to play your backup file alone or in co-op mode while other players will not play unless the manager is present.

The gameplay is almost the same but the difference is that manager and other players share resources and farm work can be completed quickly. Personally, I have never tried multiplayer mode yet because I don’t have anyone to play with.
