The best skin care for every skin type

Proper skin care is an essential part of a healthy and vital lifestyle. Our outside is a reflection of our inner being, so we should treat our skin very well.

In addition, the external appearance plays a special role nowadays, as a healthy appearance can also bring social benefits.

Modern skin care is much more than just applying an anti-aging cream. Skin care requires knowledge of your own skin type and external influences (such as the time of year) in order to achieve optimal results. Comprehensive skin care should always include cleaning and caring for the skin, including a healthy diet and exercise. Sufficiently long sleep should also be ensured.

Our skin has to cope with a multitude of stresses every day. Pollutants, dry air and especially UV rays can damage our skin. With the appropriate skin care, this process can be counteracted externally.

Indeed, there are a multitude of skin care products, we will help you find the most suitable care product for your needs. With the right care, practically everyone can have healthy and beautiful skin. Those who only begin skin care at an advanced age will find it increasingly difficult to hide the signs of progressive skin aging. Still, it’s never too late to change your life in a positive direction.

The most common skin types:
  • Oily skin is associated with increased fat production. With the right care products, shiny skin and blemishes can be avoided.
  • Combination skin is a combination of oily and dry skin which, although it balances out in old age, still requires very special skin care.
  • Dry skin does not produce enough moisture of its own and therefore needs the right care to prevent or counteract cracks, redness and wrinkles.
  • The respective skin care for women also depends on the respective living conditions of the woman. Hormone fluctuations also influence the selection of the care series.
  • When it comes to skin care for men, special care should be taken in order to take into account the different conditions of the skin of men.
  • Cellulite is one of the biggest skin problems that women in particular have to deal with. There are a variety of treatment methods for cellulite and also for prevention.
  • Sensitive skin needs intensive but mild skin care. This is the only way to avoid skin irritation and make the skin healthy and beautiful again.
  • Skin aging can be delayed with the right care. The most important tips to delay the aging process of the skin.
Natural skin care promises healthy skin with herbal raw materials without questionable additives. However, this care should always be adapted to the skin type.
Who Needs Skin Care?

Even as a child, you must at least use appropriate sun protection. With advancing age, it is not only important to treat skin problems that arise, but also to take preventive care of the skin. This is just as important for men as it is for women in this day and age, with women having a few extra things to consider when using makeup. At an advanced age, it is ultimately about keeping your own skin healthy for as long as possible.

Skin care for every skin problem There is no such thing as a miracle cure for all skin problems, as the skin reacts individually to influences. However, there are appropriate care products for all common skin problems.

Natural facial care with home remedies – without expensive cosmetics

The lists of ingredients in conventional skin care products are long, and we often don’t even know what the names actually mean. Substances of concern can easily reach the inside of the body through the fine skin of the face and cause damage there in a variety of ways. Our skin doesn’t need a chemical cocktail to look healthy and beautiful. Instead, you can use simple, natural remedies for everything from cleaning to caring for your facial skin. This not only protects your health, the environment and your wallet will also thank you.

1. Soda facial tonic for gentle cleansing

Soda can be used in many ways for body care and should therefore not be missing in any bathroom. The classic home remedy neutralizes acids, activates the skin’s natural moisturizing mechanism and has a gentle cleaning effect. It is therefore ideal for washing the skin of the face. In order not to have to stir it up fresh for every cleansing, you can make a small supply of the mild baking soda facial tonic from three tablespoons of baking soda and one liter of water. To clean, simply put some of the soda water on a damp washcloth and wash your face with it as usual. This application is suitable for all skin types and is also recommended for sensitive skin.

Tip: Another, completely natural method of facial cleansing is possible with this soap-free washing bar made from clay, a mild surfactant and nourishing shea butter.

2. Natural toner with apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a real miracle cure for the skin. I like to use it in place of toner and makeup remover. Simply dilute the vinegar in a ratio of 1: 1 with water. Put the mixture on a cosmetic pad as usual and rub your face with gentle pressure.

Tip: Diluted apple cider vinegar is just as suitable as baking soda water for a thorough cleansing of the face. However, you should be careful not to get any of it in your eyes.

3. Instead of microplastics – natural peeling with oil and salt

Many industrially manufactured peeling products harm people and the environment because they contain dangerous microplastics. You can easily do without this by making a natural peeling yourself. You only need two ingredients for this: high-quality vegetable oil sea salt (alternatively sugar) Put both ingredients in a screw-top jar so that a thick pulp is formed and shake vigorously – done. The peeling lasts for several weeks.

The salt contained in the peeling has a disinfectant effect and gently removes dead skin cells. The oil protects the skin and makes it soft. Different oils are suitable depending on the skin type. If you have dry and normal skin, olive oil is a good choice that you probably have at home anyway. If you are prone to blemishes or skin irritation, it’s better to use poppy seed or almond oil.

4. Fresh facial skin with lemon peel

To refresh your face after cleansing, you can use the squeezed peel of organic lemons instead of facial tonic. Simply rub the inside of the bowl over your face and then rinse the skin with cold water. Lemon peels are rich in vitamin C, which has a disinfectant effect. In addition, the rough surface of the peel has a slight peeling effect and removes excess oil from the skin, which is why this freshness kick is particularly suitable for impure and slightly oily skin.

5. Facial care with high-quality vegetable oils

In order to care for your skin after cleansing and to supply it with important nutrients, you can use rich, vegetable oils instead of creams. Personally, I like to use almond or coconut oil, both of which are very suitable for sensitive or blemish-prone skin. They also leave behind a pleasant scent. If your skin is more prone to dryness, you can use a good quality olive oil.

In principle: Always apply the oil to damp skin or mix it with a little water before use. This creates an emulsion and the oil penetrates the skin optimally. This will avoid leaving an oily film on the skin. The best way to find out which oil suits you best is to try it out.

6. Moisturizing care with aloe Vera

The gel of the aloe Vera plant is used in many care products because of its moisturizing, skin-soothing effect. Instead of buying expensive cosmetics, you can apply the fresh gel from the leaves directly to the skin of your face and massage it in gently. Natural aloe vera gel is perfect as a light day care or as an after-sun lotion.

If you are sunburned, you can use aloe vera to make cooling compresses in a few simple steps. To do this, simply harvest a few leaves and place them with the cut surface facing down in a glass so that the aloin can drain off, otherwise it could lead to skin irritations. Peel the leaf and place it on the affected areas of skin.

Just give it a try – there are many ways to care for your facial skin with natural products that support the skin’s regeneration process.
