When you are an entrepreneur, you are the face of your brand and every promise or word you say is taken seriously. An entrepreneur has to make many decisions on a daily basis. About a year ago I wrote a blog The Dark Side of Entrepreneurship. One of the things I discussed on the blog was about the stress entrepreneurs face.

According to your employees, you don’t do anything (I mean you don’t manage any particular division)

According to you, you do everything.

They are two sides of the same thing.

I have been an employee and I am an entrepreneur, so I can speak from both sides 🙂

Come to your sob story – Mr / Mrs Entrepreneur.

You are underestimated.

You are underpaid.

And you can’t let go of your anger

Customers, suppliers, employees, payments, government. – It doesn’t matter and everyone is there with their share of problems. And you, as the head of the business, are supposed to maintain that perfect behavior. But there are times when you sometimes want to run away. I’m sick of being that father figure to guys twice my age.

Let me give you an example.

Your employee’s child gets sick, we hope you will understand. Your customer has payment problems; you are supposed to understand.  Your supplier doesn’t deliver – they’re supposed to help.

And you?

Well, you can go and cry in front of anyone with your problems because you’re supposed to be the badass running a business: The Boss.

  • It’s worth it?
  • It’s worth it, only if you’re on the right track.
  • What is the right path?

Having a set of deadlines that you keep to yourself when starting your business is the right way to go. For example, if your goal is to close a 10L business in the 4th month of starting your business and you close 8L, you are on the right track, but if you close, 2 Lakhs and you live a life of constant pressure, believe. me, either the economic model has to change, or it has to give up and do something else.
