    WHAT IS MUSK?

Musk is a chemical from the musk gland of the male musk deer. The compound is used to make medicine.People take musk for stroke, stroke, nerve problems, seizures (convulsions), heart problems, and sores.

    • In foods, musk is often used with nut, caramel, and fruit-type flavors.
    • In manufacturing, musk is used in fragrances and perfumes.
    • Do not confuse musk using musk origin (Ferula sumbul).

The right dose of musk (Amber) is dependent upon several factors such as the consumer’s age, health, and a lot of different conditions. At this time there is not sufficient scientific information to determine an proper range of dosages for musk. Keep in mind that organic products are not always necessarily secure and dosages can be significant. Be sure to follow relevant directions on product labels and ask your pharmacist or doctor or other health care professional prior to using.

    Use

Musk is employed as a component of scents and as a fixative in perfumes. In animal studies, components of musk reportedly have anti-inflammatory and antihistaminic action.

    Dosing

Compounds derived from the musk deer are highly lipophilic and are found to accumulate in human milk and fat. Though musk is primarily used topically, caution is warranted during usage in pregnancy and lactation due to a lack of toxicity data.

    Interactions

A dose-dependent induction of CYP450 1A1 and 1A2 was detected in liver microsomes of rats fed artificial musk.

    Adverse Reactions

There’s a potential for a skin hypersensitivity reaction.

    Toxicology

Review of the scientific literature shows no significant reports of systemic toxicity by means of musk.Musk is an odiferous secretion derived from the musk gland under the stomach near the pubis of the male musk deer. The glands weigh up to 30 gram and comprise about half their weight from musk. There are two ways of getting musk. In the first procedure, the trapped deer is murdered in late winter or early spring and the gland is removed. Alternately, musk is gathered from deer raised in captivity. The musk is removed from the gland of trapped animals by use of a special spoon.

Amber gemstone  is a odoriferous discharge derived from the lower abdomen of musk deer. Amber is dried and used normally in the preparation of herbal medications. The impacts of musk are known in Oriental medicine for many thousand decades. In world’s most areas, Amber has been used in medicines and as a perfume since 3500 BC. Amber has been used as a sedative and as a stimulant of the heart, nerves, breathing and sexual libido as well as used to deal with a number of ailments. Largely in Unani Tibb, Amber has been used for treating seizures, stroke, blood and cardiovascular circulatory problems. Furthermore, because of its aromatic nature, it’s also used in fragrances and colognes.

The constituents found in Amber stimulates the androgens (male sex hormones), which makes it an aphrodisiac. Amber has also been utilized for the treatment of convulsions, tumours and injuries for ages.

Amber is another gift of character that has lots of health benefits such as, but not limited to give power to generate sex organs, by arousing the androgens. As mentioned previously, due to the aromatic nature, it has also been applied in the preparation of perfumes and colognes. It is also thought to be effective against diminishing the effects of snake venom as well as an anti-inflammatory agent. Because of this, it is one of the most widely used animal products in all these traditional and oriental forms of drugs. The list of benefits is long enough to describe, however it aids in enhancing the nerves and mind power, helpful in epilepsy, neuralgia, constipation and poor digestion.
