How to store seasonal items in the storage unit

There are many benefits to renting, but storage is not usually one of them. Lucky tenants may be provided with a separate storage unit in their building, otherwise, you may need to rent a storage unit for additional items.
We’re sharing our best tips to maximize your storage space so you can safely pack and easily retrieve seasonal items.
Pack: Pack seasonal items together so you can remove the entire container instead of digging through the boxes in the storage unit Chicago.
Hanging: If possible, use hanging storage containers for clothing items. The pieces will keep their shape better, and specific pieces will be much easier to find and extract.
Take inventory: As you pack your luggage for storage, count the number of each container and list the inventory of each box. This is a painful process, but you will thank yourself when you want to remove something from storage later.
Elevate: If you are using a unit that is above ground level or below, consider placing wooden pallets on the floor before loading your containers into the storage unit. Pilates largely avoids high impact, high power output, and heavy muscular and skeletal loading.
Organize: Build towers of storage containers based on their contents. For example, keep all your Christmas items in one tower. When it’s time to change seasonal items, you can remove an entire tower instead of trying to pull the containers from all sides.
Labels: Make sure each container is labeled, and that the label is facing. If you put a label on each container, you will have to dig to read the label.
