Today, the Dev team released how to jailbreak firestick, capable of jailbreaking the latest Apple operating system for mobile devices, iOS 5 (beta).
This is a tethered jailbreak, which means you need to connect your device to a computer and run Redsn0w to get into ‘jailbreak mode’.
With all these improvements added to iOS5, is it still worth jailbreaking your device?
I’ve jailbroken my iPhone in the past to get a higher level of customization for it, access settings that weren’t available in the official iOS, tweaks that could improve my iDevice experience anyway.
Many of these “improvements” are already available with iOS 5, but a few are still missing.

Still, the question remains… is the jailbreak still a necessity?
Many users will say “YES”, the jailbreak is a ‘must have’ probably because they don’t know what the new iOS can do, some may still have favorite applications not available in the new iOS (eg BiteSMS), but many will stay away from jailbreaking from now on because most of the features they jailbreak for are now part of the operating system.
