- Add a Wired Printer on Windows
- First, connect the USB cable to both the printer and computer.
- Click on Settings Icon o your Windows start menu.
- When the Settings window opens, click on Devices.
- On the Devices window, click on Printers & Scanners. It will be on the left of your screen.
- Now, click on Add a Printer or Scanner. Windows will begin detecting the device.
- On the search list, look for the printer you want to add. Click on the name of the printer and start the setup.
- Once, you finish with the installation; you can use the printer.
- Add a Wireless Printer on Windows
- A wireless printer connection can either be Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. So, first, check what connection it uses.
- Keep your router, computer and the wireless printer close to each other so that the printer will connect properly.
- Now, connect your printer to a power source and turn it ON.
- Check your printer’s manual for setup and installations.
Some printers can be directly connected to a computer with the installation process while others using the main interface on the printer.
