As a parent, I am always busy getting around for my kids like a taxi driver, a cook, a maid, a mediator, and so on. This is what most parents do. I noticed that we had a lot of experience over the years, but they weren’t really recorded anywhere to keep those memories. Of course, there are a few pictures, but not everyone remembers what was going on when that picture was taken. And, I had a lot of experiences with my kids where I never really felt (or sometimes just didn’t) really expressed.
It is a journal where I describe my experiences with my children and my perspectives on situations or experiences about them. They will not accept these journals until they are all adults. It’s a journal for all of them (I have five kids and writing separate journals would be quite difficult and very time-consuming).
As I write this journal I try to remember a few things and I want to talk about a lot of things.
1. Try to stay positive
I like to incorporate really good memories of us being together, especially the little things they can’t remember after they grow up. A few examples include: My daughter sewed her own Little Red Riding Hood cap for Halloween, I threw a surprise sweet 16th birthday party for my other daughter, and my son was confirmed to church by my husband.
For example, just nine days ago my nine-year-old daughter was making a device that does everything for you in the bathroom using an old cell phone battery, a dummy cell phone (which cell phone stores put in front of the store on display for customers), and a block. At first, I had no idea who was tearing up an old cell phone on my kitchen table and when I found out it was my youngest daughter I encouraged her to follow her dreams. I know I tell them this. But I want to make sure they know how I feel about them for the rest of my life.
However, not all experiences with my kids are positive. There are times when we disagree or they get into trouble for doing something wrong. Yes, I also write about these topics. At first, I had no idea who was tearing up an old cell phone on my kitchen table. I can tell my kids that even though they are not perfect I still love them and I decided and punished them to help them learn their lessons and make better choices in the future. My daughter sewed her own Little Red Riding Hood cap for Halloween
2. Include as much experience as possible with all my kids
I have five kids and I would never want my kids to feel less loved than one. They weren’t included as much as the others. It’s fairly difficult, but even if the experiences are small. Simple I’m making a conscious effort to include as many equals as possible. I want to show them all that I love them all equally.
3. Include letters and notes my kids have written to me (good and bad)
I have received both good and bad notes from my kids. When they tell me they love me and I am the best mom yet, however, in
the letters I wrote I found how horrible I am (usually because I don’t want to give them anything). These break my heart but the reality is, unfortunately, I don’t have all these letters, but I have had several over the years. I started this journal only a few years ago, so I didn’t think to keep them.
4. Include school and church certificates
I have folders and certificates folders and prizes for my kids a few years old. I will add these in the best order in my journal. These are all things that make me proud of my kids and I want them to care about their accomplishments.
5. Have an original and make a copy later for everyone
Keeping five copies and the one I attached to it as an original can be a bit of a challenge because I’m afraid I’ll miss adding one or more of them. So, I will wait until my kids are ready to give it to everyone. From now on Christmas gift years. To say the least, I have taken enough care to write stories and experiences of all of them since childhood.
I started writing this journal hand in hand with a very nice book, but I realized that two reasons would not really work for my situation:
1) I am also adding past experiences and not everything is chronological, so it makes it difficult to read
2 ) I can’t add my kid’s letters and their prizes to pre-made journals.
So, I decided to type all my entries on a separate page with each entry so that I could place them by date.
It took me a while to compose all the experiences of the past as something that creates a different memory almost every day. Then I continue the present experiences to my best advantage. However, I think it will be a pretty neat book for my kids as they get older; It shows their progress from childhood to adolescence; It helps me to grow personally as my mother and to know-how. Where I need to improve to be the best mother I can be. To teach my kids what it did. How it didn’t work and help them Help grow into responsible adults.
How to choose a dream custom journal
Dreams are a way for us to live a more purposeful life. By focusing on our nightmares we get guidance. Information that helps us lead a more intentional life by pointing to more conscious choices.
As a dream worker, I always encourage their dreams in journals.
Because of this, we choose a dream journal that we enjoy seeing and writing in. We also set an intention to remember our dreams by showing our unconscious minds that our dreams are important to us.
Over the years I’ve seen all sorts of dream journals, ranging from ordinary notebooks to leather-bound pages. So look for something that resonates with you just to write down your dreams. Personally, I also use a pen to write my dreams by hand. It shows their progress from childhood to adolescence; It helps me to grow personally as my mother and to know-how.
Also, you can customize your journal by doing things like:
Writing dreams using colored pens and pencils
Add pictures to your dream journal
Draw a picture of your dream in your whole journal
The pages that have something to dream about adhering to special items
Entire Creating a collage on any page to represent a complete dream
You can create your own journal but you want to. There are no rules or the right way to do it. This is the journal of your dreams, so do something to enjoy it. Where I need to improve to be the best mother I can be. To teach my kids what it did.
