- October 2011 – Batman Arkham City: Arkham City is a follow-up of the asylum events. The villains turn part of Gotham City into Arkham City. Dr Hugo Strange, the main villain, rules it with gangs and armed forces after capturing Bruce Wayne and throwing him into Arkham City. Most of the Arkham Asylum characters appear with a few new ones, like Cat woman, playable at different game levels. She is an incredible addition because she is more mobile and can reach areas that Batman cannot.
Batman has some new gadgets. The gameplay and mechanics are the same. There are many other versions like Batman Arkham Origins released in October 2013, and Batman Arkham Knight released in June 2015. It has provided a lot of fun and creativity to gamers and creators alike. The mobile version is also available for download. Hence, the rise in popularity of Batman toys such as action figures, comic characters, etc.
