Do you have work experience in Canada or a desire to live and work in Canada for a period of time to get international experience? Maybe you’ve been thinking about studying in Canada and want to know what your possibilities are for permanent residency once you’ve graduated. Get help from Canada immigration consultants in Delhi.

The Canadian Experience Class is the answer for you.

How to successfully apply for Permanent Residency through the   CEC?: Canada immigration consultants in Delhi.

The CEC is one of three federal economic immigration programmes governed by the Express Entry system. It allows skilled employees who have spent at least one year working in Canada in the previous three years to apply for permanent residency.

    1. Check eligibility

CEC has 4 main eligibility criteria:

    1. Meet the required language levels
    • Canadian Language Benchmark 7 for NOC 0 or A JOBS
    • CLB 5 for NOC B Jobs

You will need language test results for:

    • Writing
    • Speaking
    • Reading
    • Listening

    1. have at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada in the three years preceding your application—you can achieve this requirement in a variety of ways:
    2. working full-time at a single job: 1 year full-time is 30 hours per week for 12 months (1,560 hours) Part-time work equals full-time work: For example, 15 hours per week for 24 months equals one year of full-time employment (1,560 hours)
    3. To achieve this criterion, you can work as many part-time jobs as you need.
    4. working full-time in multiple jobs: Working 30 hours per week for 12 months at more than one job equals one year of full-time employment (1,560 hours)
    5. Working in Canada while on temporary residence status with work authorization has given you work experience.
    6. Be admissible to Canada
How do we calculate work experience?

If you have paid skilled work experience, such as salaries or earned commission, your work experience could help you improve your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.  Volunteering or unpaid internships, unfortunately, do not count. Any hours worked in excess of 30 per week will not be taken into account.

If you got job experience working part-time, it can be counted if it equals around 15 hours each week, but it must total 1,560 hours. Working multiple part-time jobs can also help you get the hours you need to apply.

What is skilled work experience?: Canada PR from India

According to the National Occupational Classification or NOC code, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) defines skilled work experience as follows:

    1. Managerial jobs
    2. Professional jobs
    3. Technical jobs and skilled jobs

    1. Prepare your document

You’ll need different documents to complete different phases of any Express Entry programme, so it’s best to get everything ready ahead of time. If you have doubts, take help from Canada immigration consultants in Delhi.

    Creating your Express Entry profile

To help you complete your Express Entry Profile correctly, you’ll need the following papers.

    1. A passport or other kind of travel authorization
    2. Proof of Canadian schooling or an educational credential assessment (ECA) report for immigration purposes if you want to obtain points for education you received outside of Canada Provincial Nomination or PN (if you have one)
    3. If you have one, a documented job offers from Canada, proof of your Canadian work experience, and proof of your work experience outside of Canada (if you have any),
    4. A Canadian province or territory has given you a certificate of qualification in a trade occupation (if you have one)

    Applying for Permanent Residence

If your application is accepted and you are invited to apply for permanent residency, you must upload copies of the following documents:

    1. Police certificates
    2. Medical exams
    3. Birth/adopted certificate
    4. Representative form
    5. Common-law union form

    1. Submit your profile

It’s time to submit your Express Entry profile now that you’ve completed your applications and gathered all of your supporting papers. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) will assign a score to your profile based on numerous characteristics, and it will be placed in a pool with other qualified candidates. You’ll receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency if you’re one of the best candidates. If you are facing issues, take guidance from Canada immigration consultants in Delhi.

You will have 60 days to accept or reject the invitation. Don’t be concerned if you don’t receive an ITA. Your profile will be kept in the draw pool for at least one year or until an ITA is received.

How the CEC has been Affected by the pandemic?

The CEC was responsible for 85 percent of completed Express Entry applications in 2021.

On February 13, the IRCC invited a record-breaking 27,332 CEC candidates with CRS cut-off scores of just 75! This was also to aid in the reduction of the backlog. Although it’s impossible to say for sure, with the 14,000 CEC applications awaiting processing each month, we could be witnessing something similar. IRCC issued 108,860 COPRs to CEC applicants between January and October 2021, making CEC applicants the largest beneficiaries of the Express Entry scheme thus far this year.

    Questions related to CEC

    1. Does self-employment and student work experience count towards the Canadian Experience Class?

Unfortunately, job experience obtained while self-employed or as a full-time student does not count toward the CEC.

    1. How long does a CEC take?

Because the Canadian Experience Class is controlled by the Express Entry system, 80 percent of applications could be processed in as little as six to eight months, depending on the programme you apply through. CEC offers the quickest processing times at the moment.

    3. How many points do I need for the Canadian Experience Class?

Cut-off score is determined by the score in CRS calculation. The cut off score fluctuates when new applicants enter the draw pool. To date, the average CRS score for 2021 is 379, based on 16 draws (excluding this anomaly mentioned previously). Know more from Canada PR agency.

    4. Does the CEC require WES?

No, both the CEC and the FSWP are free from this requirement; however, FSTP applicants will need the WES in order to get permanent residence in Canada through Express Entry.

    5. How many pay stubs do I need for CEC?

Pay stubs can be used as proof of employment to boost your CRS score. They can be useful if you are paid on an hourly basis rather than a salary, or if your hours vary owing to part-time employment. This can be used to verify the total amount of hours worked over the course of a year. Over the course of a year, you’ll need a minimum of 1,560 hours, which can be full-time, part-time, or a combination of both.

Before immigrating know about your CRS scores.
