How do we calculate work experience?
If you have paid skilled work experience, such as salaries or earned commission, your work experience could help you improve your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. Volunteering or unpaid internships, unfortunately, do not count. Any hours worked in excess of 30 per week will not be taken into account.
If you got job experience working part-time, it can be counted if it equals around 15 hours each week, but it must total 1,560 hours. Working multiple part-time jobs can also help you get the hours you need to apply.

Creating your Express Entry profile

Submit your profile
It’s time to submit your Express Entry profile now that you’ve completed your applications and gathered all of your supporting papers. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) will assign a score to your profile based on numerous characteristics, and it will be placed in a pool with other qualified candidates. How long does a CEC take?
