I was forced to by quarantine! I’m aware that a lot of people won’t agree with me if I repaint the wall white.
In case you were curious, this is how the wall appeared the previous week. I adore the dark colour of the walls, but I felt like a change was necessary,shelf styling even if only for the summer.
Even though I adore brightness, I must admit that I actually prefer the darker wall since it makes some objects stand out of your home.

The most crucial piece of advice I can give you, though, is to be patient before we start. Nobody, in my opinion, ever gets it properly the first time.
Trial and error is prevalent. My third attempt is this one. At the conclusion of the previous two, I showed some pictures.
1. SELECT A COLOR THEME OR SCHEMA STYLING
My preferred method is to choose a colour scheme or specific theme first.
For instance, throughout the summer I will gather “summery” items like driftwood, shells, etc. I wanted some neutrals, blacks, and browns in this situation.

4. START BIG, START FRESH
Make careful to empty all of your shelves. Give them a thorough cleaning because the dance is about to begin.
I like to put the bigger objects down first. These act as a foundation for the other accessories.
On this specific shelf, I began by sanding some of the paint off the black bowl that I had spray painted after purchasing it at a thrift store.
5. ZIG-ZAG IT
I began to arrange the smaller black objects on the other shelves in a zigzag pattern after I had set the enormous black bowl in place.
I often try to use every hue in my palette to follow that pattern and flow.
The same is true of plants and literature. This enables you to look around the shelves rather than just concentrating on one area with your eyes.
6. OTHER ADVICE.
Lean artwork against the wall and use it as a support for smaller objects.
Place books facing out for a more neutral appearance, or add colour with the book’s spine.
Try once more. As you can see, I added additional repetitions of the procedure because it took me a few tries before I was satisfied with the outcomes.
As time goes on, I’ll probably reshuffle them.
