How to challenge UGC NET Answer Key 2021?
NTA provides candidates with an option to raise an objection against the provisional answer key. Follow the steps provided below to challenge UGC NET answer key.
1st step: Go to the official website that is ugcnet.nta.nic.in or click on the direct link given above.
2nd step: Click on ‘answer key challenge’ button present at the bottom of the home page.
3rd step: Now, login using the application number and date of birth and click on ‘submit’ button.
4th step: Hereafter, click on ‘click here for challenge regarding answer key’.
5th step: UGC NET 2021 answer key is displayed on the screen. Now, select the ID option which candidate think is incorrect for the given question ID. Click on the drop-down list which says ‘is question correct’. Select the ‘yes’ option from the list.
6th step: Upload the relevant proof of the challenge candidates have presented.
7th step: Pay the required fee for raising the objection. Proceed to submit the challenge.
As per the notification, candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- per question to challenge UGC NET answer key.

NTA provides candidates with the question paper for all the sets through login. Aspirants can use these question papers along with the answer key for the calculation of their scores. These UGC NET question papers are also useful to challenge the answer keys. Follow the steps to download UGC NET 2021 question papers:
1st step: Go to the login page by following the steps provided above. Now, enter the login details which are application number, date of birth and security pin.
2nd step: Now, a dashboard is displayed on the screen. Click on ‘please click here for the display of your question paper and your responses’.
3rd step: Hereafter, the UGC NET question paper is displayed on the screen.
How to Download your UGC NET e-certificate & JRF letter
Now those of you who clear the UGC NET exam shall need to download the UGC NET e-certificate and/or the JRF award letter from the NTA’s website.

Q1: Can you discuss the marking scheme for UGC NET?
Ans : NTA gives +2 marks to candidates for marking the correct answer. There is no negative marking in UGC NET.
Q2: If I found any incorrect answer in the UGC NET answer key, can I raise an objection against it?
