Healing Anger and Violence in Our Society

I have advised individuals, couples, families, and business partners over the past 35 years, and have authored eight published books. All of these experiences have led to the development of a profound six-step healing process called Inner Bonding that anyone can learn and use throughout the day (free course available-see resource box).

The violence in Littleton, Colorado, sparked a lot of debate about the causes of such horrific behavior by two teenage boys. I would like to cover this with Inner Bonding. Here we are providing you the new & Latest, breaking News Update for your regular basis activities.

In my experience, it is impossible for us to become violent as human beings when we are connected to a source of true and core ego and spiritual guidance. When we do what we must do to develop a loving adult ego that is spiritually connected, there are inner saints that limit our actions in relation to harming ourselves and others.

However, it is very common in our society for people to lose contact with their true core selves. Because our core selves have intrinsic feelings of compassion and empathy for others, losing this aspect of ourselves can harm others without feeling pain or regret. So the question is, how do we lose our connection with our core selves?

Many child development experts say that people who are separated from empathy and compassion usually do so between the ages of 2 and 4. If parents lacked empathy and compassion for our feelings and needs, we may have chosen to become guardians and take care of their needs, or they may have chosen to be like them without caring about the feelings and needs of others. We may not have had role modeling to maintain our own inner connection. Had parents closed themselves to ourselves and to our own suffering, we would have learned to close the vulnerable feelings of ourselves and others. Also, if we were physically, sexually, emotionally, or verbally abused or neglected, we may have closed our doors to survive.

Some children whose parents have been closed or abused maintain a connection with their core self through contact with animals such as dogs and horses, while others maintain a connection through contact with relatives or friends they identify with. However, many young children disconnect to survive. Watching violence on TV or practicing violence through video games in this disconnected state can train your numbness in compassion, empathy, and the pain that hurts others.

Likewise, if a child grows independent of the source of spiritual guidance and personally, he may not know that we are all one person, and he may not consider the possibility that the consequences of his actions will affect his life after death.

Without a connection between the core ego and spiritual guidance, only the wounded ego remains. If they work on an enraged wounded ego, this ego can certainly act in an angry and violent way. If you don’t have an inner saint of love to set limits, it can harm yourself or others, as we’ve seen.

Restricting firearms is certainly a good thing, but it doesn’t stop violence. This violence will not stop until we no longer need to learn to block our hearts in our very early days. As parents and teachers, we must implement a healing process, such as an inner bond, to regain our core selves and deep connections with God. Only by doing your inner work can you be the lovely role model your child needs. Changes in our society come from each of us.
